How long before i recover from sciatic nerve damage?

Suffered pain for a week before I saw my osteopath who adjusted me, gave me meds and insisted that I get an epidural steroidal injection. pain was gone within 24 hours, but my left foot is tingly/numb on the bottom. How long does it take to recover? Can I run on this? http://bit.ly/q5uorg
