my father was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes does it mean that im going to have diabetes?

my father was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes this month and he is the only one who has diabetes in the entire family and so im asking if i going to have diabetes?im a bit scared and im only 12 so please help me! and also nobody on my mothers side has diabetes.thanks! http://bit.ly/rfdNPa
