I have trigeminal neuralgia amd have been prescribed tegratol as well as dihydrocodeine is this normal?

is it normal to be prescribed both? Also and i know it sounds weird but the tegratol was working then it stopped so yesterday the doctor added the dihydrocodeine and it makes me randomly itchy not to mention nauseated and restless http://bit.ly/pLJ1tm
