Diabetes????

I have type 1 diabetes…if i was to have a child what would be the chances of my child geting diabetes? (if the father has no diabetes) and is there any way to prevent the child from getting diabetes? If possible can u give me a website where i can read about this http://bit.ly/qhEix0
