Can i get health insurance for Type 1 Diabetes?

I have Type 1 diabetes and at the moment i am covered by my Step-mothers health insurance but in 2010 her insurance runs out for me, is there anyway of getting Health insurance to cover my diabetes except by getting a job that has health insurance as standard? http://bit.ly/noQIuu
